cSt: The viscosities of oils measured in cSt (centistokes or cP centiPoise) correspond to the universal unit of measurement, measuring the resistance to deformation of a liquid.

WT: oils measured in WT correspond to a weight.

Manufacturers using cSt as a rating are using a world standard and can be mixed between brands, cSt measurement should vary little from one brand to another, Other ratings like W or WT (often referred to as “weight”) differ from brand to brand and are not a world standard. Some brands that use this labeling also print the cSt rating in small print for convenience.
