The shock absorber is divided into main and sub shock absorber.

Main shock absorber: Responsible for the spring support of the body, the damping of the shock absorber oil and the piston activity.

 

Auxiliary shock absorber: Responsible for the damping of the shock absorber oil, shock absorber oil and piston activity. It helps an up and down stabilization effect between the hydraulic plate and the lower arm, and the strength of suspension arm could be increased by at least 30%. At the same time, it also increases the larger oil storage capacity of the shock absorber. This ensures that the damping effect of the shock absorber oil can slow down in the case of high frequency and high temperature.

 

Main shock absorber: The shock absorber has a simple and effective careful thought structure. It is locked by screws to prevent the shock absorber from being lost during the vehicles’ running.

The spring up and low ends are designed with higher density, and the initial stroke of 2/5 of the shock absorber is obviously soft and delicate, which vehicles can have a stable state of performance when on complex and rough terrains. The wider density in the middle spring is to help the support for the shocks the end section.

How to judge the quality of shock shaft, you can see it with your eyes alone [high luster] [0 trachoma], if the material with low luster is 100% low in hardness, it is very easy to leak, and it is easy to leak oil. Changed to a matte finish.

 

In the remote control model off-road related models, in the decades of development history, the diameter of the shock core is 3.0mm, 3.5mm and 4.0mm. It is clear that only 3.5mm is the best size and the most balanced in all aspects.


The diameter of 3.0mm is too small, and with the higher and higher speeds, the strength cannot be carried.

The diameter of 3.5 mm is suitable for 1/8 rc cars, with the smooth movement of the shocks.

4.0mm diameter is relatively large, it needs a very heavy vehicle weight to push the shock absorber core with such a thick diameter. As the diameter increases, the wear surface between the shock absorber core and the shock absorber O ring increases, and the observation coefficient also increases. As a result, the shock absorber effect is not good when used in 1/8 or less than 10kg weight models. Clumsy slow inflexible shock absorption efficiency is reduced and so on bad.

The design on the top end of the shock absorber uses a CNC metal ring cap to increase the strength, but the structure is the same as the general RTR.

The method of making the drain hole will be shown below.



Use the rotor between 1.0-2.0 to punch a hole in the middle of the metal top cover, fill up the shock absorber oil and slowly pull it up and down, put it statically for 5 minutes, let the bubbles run up, and then put the lid on. Do not tighten until there is slight resistance, and slowly push the shock core up to the top while locking the shock top cap. This quickly completes the operation of draining the shock absorber, which can basically ensure that 99% is shock oil. This change is only to facilitate the maintenance of the shock absorber, air discharge and oil discharge in the future. It is not necessary to modify the hole without affecting the shock absorber operation.
